Rental Policies

Reservation & Payment 

While we strive to make every affair a royal tea affair we recommend that in order to ensure the ideal date for your event, you contact us to reserve your date as soon as possible, as dates and services fill up quickly. 

 

We require reservation to be done a minimum of 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the date of your event.

In order to make a reservation and book your event date we require a completed and signed contract and valid pre-authorized credit card information to be provided.

Payment of the event balance in full is to be made no later than 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the date of your event.

*Please Note: Rental services and dates are not considered to be reserved until a signed and dated contract and valid pre-authorized credit card information is received.

Delivery, Pick-up & Returns

Proudly based in Chatham we deliver throughout the Chatham-Kent Region and the surrounding south-western Ontario area, including Windsor, Sarnia, and Strathroy areas.

Delivery and pickup is $25.00+0.79¢ per kilometer of driving distance between our main office and the delivery location.

Drop-off and pick-up will occur at agreed upon times, and both must be done with the client listed on the rental contract present as we require a signature to confirm all deliveries. 

To provide our clients with the best pricing and service possible, we also offer the option of free delivery and pickup from our location for those who wish to personally pick up and return all rental items. In order to qualify for this option both pick-up and drop-off must be completed the same day as the event between the hours of 9am and 9pm.  

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to make a cancellation of your rental, please inform us immediately and at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the date of your engagement in order to avoid cancellations fees. Failure to notify us of a cancellation in a timely manner (at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to your engagement), will result in the full value of your rental becoming non-refundable.

Damages & Missing Items

We realize many of the items we offer are delicate, so please take great care. However, have peace of mind as we know that normal wear and tear is to be expected.

Upon delivery or pick-up of all rental items, the maintenance and care of all items becomes solely the renter's responsibility. As once the items have been delivered or picked-up, you as the renter agree to take full responsibility of all pieces rented out.

 

If for any reason items become lost, excessively dirty, and/or damaged, you will be charged according to the current full retail value of each piece considered lost, excessively dirty, and/or damaged. We reserve the sole right to determine whether a piece is considered lost, excessivley dirty, and/or damaged, what is considered normal wear and tear, and what is considered the current full retail value of each lost and/or damaged peice.

Improper Pick-up Prep. or Returns

In the event that all items rented out are not properly cleaned and packed so as to be made ready for pick-up by the pre-arranged and agreed upon pick-up time following your event, or all items rented out are not returned to our Chatham location by the agreed upon return time, a fee of $250.00 will be charged. 

Remember should an item not fit in its original box or bin, don't force it. We'll be happy to re-pack it upon pick-up. Otherwise, it is expected that all items be cleaned and re-packed prior to pick-up.
